The Diavel is in the Details – Ducati Diavel

It’s quite interesting when sometimes things doesn’t work out the way you planned.

I was out last week to send my car for servicing only to find out that the workshop was close. Noticing that this is something unusual as I didn’t know that they do close for business on a normal weekday, I decided to call their office number to check if they are open the following day. To my surprise, I got a voicemail instead. I called their other branch telephone number and this time, what I got was a voice message from the telephone service provider itself saying that the number is no longer in use! What a bummer and why I was so pissed off was because my car warranty is also under the same company and I just renewed it with them!

The shop owner eventually contacted me and explained to me (thru text messages) the situation they are in now, and at the same time, assured me that my policy is still in place and that they will be back in operation after the Chinese New Year. This CNY or next year I do not know, but the scenario he’s in now, based on what other repair shop owners told me, is not good.

So what that has got to do with this post? As I was not able to send my car for servicing, I suddenly got the afternoon to take some photos :-) !

Well, that guy could just might as well be me. Short of inspiration and trying to use a 50mm lens (equivalent to 80mm on my 550D) to take some landscape photos, I decided to call it a day pretty fast.

On the way back to the car park, I saw this chap taking a photo of this sexy little thing. Yeah, I know and it’s not what you’re thinking :-) .

There’s a motorbike and there’s a Diavel.

Diavel who? Diavel what? For the uninitiated like me :-) , this is good way to find out more about it .

Or the gallery below:

Kenneth, a very nice chap by the way, is the happy owner of that bike with the sexy backside (I think that is how he described it to me :-) ). As mentioned earlier, my afternoon was not planned this way and was quite pretty pleased to say the least that it didn’t :-) . I had another photo opportunity with this Diavel in action (at the streets of Singapore!) and that will be another story for another post!

For now, like the Lone Ranger riding into before the sunset…hi ho Diavel away!!!
