On the way back to Singapore from Penang, we decided to do a stop-over to Melaka.
Much like Penang, Melaka has an old world charms that being in one place makes you feel that you’ve been to the other. I’m a regular visitor to Penang but Melaka, though nearer to Singapore, is pretty much new to me. This is only my second visit there but I never felt that way. The old buildings, streets and alleys just looks familiar. If you like street photography (and a dose of good food), this is a very nice place to go. Too bad the heavy rain just shortened our stay there but I’ll definitely be back there again.
